This is my first time as an organizer for Womens Game Jam - Canada. However I was once a Jammer back in 2020. It is really nice to bring this Jam to a new audience of cis, trans women and NB folk!. It's good to have a safe space to feel comfortable to develop games.
WGJ is an incredible event that fosters diversity and empowerment in the games industry! The sense of community and support among jammers is so inspiring, and the opportunity to see unique game projects with such special stories behind them coming to life is an experience one of a kind!
WGJ is a safe space for learning, connecting, and developing games. It's a fun, pressure-free environment to create, brainstorm ideas, and improve together, building wonderful friendships along the way!
